Several highly rated Millard elementary schools are in close proximity to the area as are a Millard middle school and high school.  Bent Creek is home to an eleven acre park with a playground and picnic area, and a bike and hiking trail runs along the western edge of the community.   Several swimming pools and public and private golf clubs are a short drive away as are baseball and soccer fields. 

Village Pointe (a large shopping center with numerous specialty shops, clothing stores, restaurants, bars and a multiplex movie theater) is near-by and smaller strip centers with grocery stores are only a short distance from Bent Creek.  With easy access to the West Dodge Expressway, offices, a medical center, and other places of employment are close at hand.
